About Azra
I am a professional artist who is always updating my own knowledge and capabilities. I’ve been creating since I could hold a pencil and am capable of working in a variety of styles. I specialize in watercolor and have a robust understanding of the fundamentals of visual art.
I teach not only how to technically accomplish your goals, but how to see and critically think as an artist.

I take a personalized method to everyone I teach. As a teacher, my primary concern is to help you reach your goals, whatever those may be. I adjust my teaching style to suit your learning style and personality.
We would begin by identifying what your current goals are as an artist and where your capabilities lay. Then, I create a custom curriculum based on your needs. I believe teaching should ultimately be a conversation. My philosophy is that improving any skill should be a fun challenge.

Warning, Azra will infect you with his own passion for art. You’re not just gonna get some technical advice from this guy. Arza’s instruction falls in line with collaboration; he’s not just telling you what to do, he’s helping you figure out what you want to do. He’s clear and concise when providing feedback, and with over 12 years of experience, he’s has such a good eye for detail and form. He can help you become more inspired and more technically gifted. Seriously, this is the guy.
Azra is currently tutoring me in visual art in a way that is both easy to understand and fun to do. I have learned a lot from them in just a month of teaching. They explained to me proper hand techniques as well as encouraging me towards the art I want to make in my soul. They are a skilled, patient, and kind person to learn from.
