About Razzy

I have a 300 year old legacy in Indian Classical Music and I’m the 7th generation. My family is full of musicians. I’m the granddaughter of Lt. Pandit Rajan Misra ji and daughter of Pt. Ritesh Mishra. I’m currently an attending student at Berklee College of Music.

About the lesson

I teach Hindustani Classical, Bhajan, Bollywood, Western, and Acapella. I base my class on sur (pitch) and taal (rhythm), which are the building blocks of Music. I approach the student according to his/her age. For example, children below the age of 10 are easily distracted, hence, I would teach them a catchy piece like a bhajan and so on.

Nupur

She is brilliant whether dealing with elders or children, me being one of the example. Patient as she can be, along with the understanding she holds for every individual she teaches. Being grand daughter of late Pt. Rajan Mishra, she has his capabilities and virtues of being down to earth as well as warmth in her teaching, specially when she sings.
