About BARBARA
Hello!! I am Bárbara Gálvez, and I am a teacher of the flute and its most famous related instrument: the piccolo or piccolo. I have been in the world of music for 21 years, starting at the age of 8, and today I dedicate myself to teaching our instruments and playing with professional orchestras such as the Barcelona City Orchestra or the Santa Cecilia Orchestra. I am also part of the bags of the RTVE Orchestra and the Oviedo Filarmonía. For 8 years I have taught at the Municipal School of Music of Punta Umbría, and hence I love teaching :)

My way of teaching is based on learning in the most natural way possible and always seeking the expression of the students through music as a language. The understanding on the part of the teachers regarding the learning and the circumstances of each student seems to me basic to be a good teacher.

Hacía muchísimos años que quería volver a darle una oportunidad a la flauta tras haberlo intentado en el pasado, y Bárbara ha sido la persona perfecta para lograrlo. Tiene una paciencia increíble y una metodología que hace que todo sea fácil y motivador. Supo perfectamente cómo guiarme desde el primer momento, adaptándose a mi ritmo y devolviéndome la ilusión por la música. La recomiendo al 100% a cualquiera que quiera empezar de cero o retomar el instrumento.
