About Mary
Hi, I’m Mary, a recent Trinity College Dublin graduate in Earth System Science with a strong passion for biology and science education. Biology has always been one of my strongest subjects, and I genuinely enjoy helping others understand topics that may feel difficult at first.
Through my degree, fieldwork and research experience, I’ve developed strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of environmental and biological systems.
I’m friendly, patient and organized, and I aim to make biology feel far less overwhelming by helping students build confidence, improve exam performance and enjoy learning the subject.

Hi, I’m Mary, a recent Trinity College Dublin science graduate offering biology grinds for Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert students. Biology has always been one of my strongest and favourite subjects, and I genuinely enjoy helping students understand it in a way that feels clear and manageable.
I set the rate at 9€/ hour for the first 3 lessons so we can get to know eachother and then if it’s a good fit we can discuss an appropriate price
My lessons are tailored to each student and can focus on exam preparation, revision, understanding difficult concepts, essay-style questions and improving confidence. I break topics down into simple explanations and use past exam questions to help students feel prepared.
Lessons are supportive, personalised and typically last one hour online or in Dublin.

Mary is an excellent tutor, and she certainly knows her stuff! I highly recommend her, she is particularly good at breaking down complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand!
