Approach to Tutoring:
I focus on creating a supportive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My approach is centered around breaking down complex math concepts into easy-to-understand steps, using real-world examples to relate math to everyday life. I tailor each lesson to the student's needs, ensuring that their problem areas are addressed with clear explanations.
Teaching Methodology:
Interactive Learning: I encourage active participation by asking students to solve problems during lessons, giving them a hands-on understanding of the topic.
Step-by-Step Explanations: Each lesson begins with foundational concepts and gradually builds up to more complex problems. I focus on ensuring that students fully grasp the basics before moving forward.
Regular Feedback: I provide constructive feedback after each lesson, helping students understand where they’ve improved and what they can focus on for next time.
Lesson Length:
A typical lesson lasts 60-90 minutes, depending on the student's level and attention span. This ensures enough time to cover topics thoroughly without overwhelming the student.
Qualifications/Experience:
I have an A in Math and am currently studying Computer Science. Though I’m a student, I’ve developed a passion for teaching and have experience tutoring primary and secondary students in math, helping them build confidence and improve their grades.
Who My Lessons Are For:
My lessons are ideal for primary and secondary school students (ages 7-17) who need support in math, whether they’re struggling with basic concepts or looking to boost their performance before exams.
