About Joel
With 10 years of teaching and work experience, I have had the opportunity to help many school and college students discover their love for trumpet playing. I believe that music education should inspire creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning.
My lessons include breathing control, posture, embouchure, articulation, tone quality, rhythm, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and performance coaching. Every lesson is carefully adapted to the student's learning style and goals, ensuring steady improvement and lasting confidence.
One of the most meaningful milestones in my career has been seeing students perform with confidence after overcoming challenges they once believed were impossible. Their progress continues to inspire my passion for education.
I encourage students to stay motivated, practice consistently, and enjoy every step of the learning process. I create a welcoming environment where mistakes become opportunities to grow and improve.
My mission is to help every student become a confident musician while developing discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for music that will remain with them throughout life.

My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students discover the joy of playing the trumpet while developing strong musical foundations. I believe learning should be encouraging, creative, and enjoyable. My lessons are designed to match each student's skill level and personal learning goals.
Motivation inspires students to continue improving and enjoy their musical journey. I encourage regular practice, positive thinking, and confidence in their abilities.
Communication is essential for successful learning. I explain concepts clearly in simple English, provide practical examples, and create an environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Integrity guides my teaching through honesty, respect, and patience. I provide supportive feedback and encourage students to develop discipline and responsibility.
Creativity allows students to explore different aspects of music. I include breathing exercises, rhythm practice, articulation training, improvisation, listening activities, and performance preparation.
Besides trumpet, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm skills, ensemble playing, beginner composition, and music appreciation. My aim is to help students become expressive and confident musicians.
