About Evan
I‘ve got a background in cognitive psychology, and have been tutoring and teaching in some capacity for nearly a decade now, typically for science or mathematics, but occasionally for literature or history or writing. I have experience both with in-person and online learning, a great deal of experience with test prep, and have even written practice material for the SAT Science.

I approach my lessons by making sure I can explain the fundamental core of the concept I’m trying to get my students to understand. The best lessons are the ones where you can present the student with the first principles and help them discover the idea for themselves.
