About Blake

Hello,

I'm Blake, a second-year medical student with a bachelor's degree in human biology.

Experience:
With 8 years of tutoring under my belt, I've covered a wide range of subjects, from high school and AP courses to undergraduate-level subjects. I've conquered 15+ AP exams and completed my major in human biology. I'm well-versed in preparing students for standardized tests like SAT, PSAT, SAT subject tests (SAT2s), and MCAT.

Ideal Students:
I offer my tutoring services to middle school through college students in various subjects. If you're looking to enhance your standardized test scores or need assistance with personal statements and applications, I'm here to guide you.

I believe in fostering confidence through knowledge and professionalism. Let's work together to achieve your academic and personal goals.

Best regards,
Blake

About the lesson

Welcome! My teaching approach is flexible and engaging, tailored to each student's learning style and pace.

Teaching Approach:
I prioritize understanding over rote memorization. Starting with basics, I build a solid foundation and then progress to more advanced concepts. I use real-world examples and interactive discussions to make lessons relatable and enjoyable. Questions and open dialogue are encouraged throughout.

What Sets Me Apart:
I'm dedicated to my students' success. I understand that a good tutor is someone who can turn a complex idea into a much simpler one. I am patient with individual challenges and create a comfortable environment for questions and exploration. I foster critical thinking and independent learning.
