About Hodjat

I have more than 15 years experience in tutoring, teaching, and lecturing various physics courses for students at high school, undergraduate (in different disciplines of science and engineering) and master (in physics) levels. Main points in my pedagogical strategy: ● Adopting appropriate educational methods to strengthen students' skills in "thinking" and "sharing knowledge"; ● Providing a high-quality concept-oriented teaching method that: - increases students' self-confidence to deal with problems in their daily lives and solve them, - helps them to benefit from team working; ● Looking at "teaching to" students as a procedure of "learning from" them; ● Creating a learning atmosphere by presenting simple questions from course topics and then, with a positive attitude and open mind, making a comfortable atmosphere with high expectations for students to ask their questions.

Dr. Hodjat was my classmate and I know him for more than 30 years. He has always been a great student of physics and mathematics, a great researcher, and a teacher. He is super trustable and a kind soul.
Hodjat has a deep understanding of science, physics, and mathematics and teaches the materials in an elegant way.
As a professor at the University of British Columbia, I strongly recommend him to other Superprof members.

I had a great experience with prof. Hodjat. He is great at giving examples and relating physics to daily life, making it easier to understand. He breaks the subject down to detail and explains from 0, step by step. Would recommend him definitely, as he explains everythint very well. Very satisfied.

Hodjat is very experienced in teaching physics. I think whatever job he has, he is born to be a teacher! He always finds a way to make students understand the most complicated problems of physics in the simplest way. He is such a patient smart teacher. I extremely recommend him!
