About Emma
I am a graduate of Agricultural Science in University College Dublin. I have had a huge interest in the ever growing and changing sector since a young age. I have grown up on a farm and I have gained valuable experience working on different farms specialising in dairy, beef, tillage, pigs and horses.
I studied Ag Science for Leaving Cert in 2018, and obtained a H1.
I would describe myself as an enthusiastic, adaptive and motivated person with excellent communication skills. I am positive and very easy to get along with :)

Rather than opening a book and reading/teaching it word for word, I find teaching in a practical, authentic way, is what works best for the student. This ensures they obtain a thorough understanding of the material to achieve the best grade possible. I tailor my lessons to the individual, by helping them understand and process information by linking it back to their own experience, or breaking it down using real world context. I know what needs to be studied and what doesn't!
To meet the demands of each student's learning, I create personalised notes. Along with covering project work and field work, I also put a lot of emphasis on reviewing old exam papers and patterns to ensure each student performs to their very best.
