About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I'ma 20 year old History and Geography student in UCD. I live in the Skryne/Dunshaughlin area in Meath but offer grinds to the general Meath/Dublin area. I achieved H1 grades in both subjects in my Leaving Certificate and have experience working with children and young people. I'm friendly, patient and approachable, and hoping to pursue post-primary teaching in the future.

About the lesson

I like to keep lessons relaxed, supportive and focused on what each student needs help with. I know that some topics can be difficult to understand, so I would take the time to explain things clearly and break them down into simpler steps. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and to become more confident in their subjects.

Typical lesson length would be an hour, but longer sessions can be arranged if needed, especially before exams.

I'm currently a second-year History and Geography student at University College Dublin (UCD). I achieved H1 grades in both subjects in my Leaving Certificate, so I understand the courses and the preparation involved in working towards good exam results.

I offer History and Geography grinds to Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students. Whether you're struggling with certain topics, looking for help with exam preparation or hoping to improve your confidence, I'd be happy to help and work at a pace that suits you.
