About Gagik
My name is Gagik, and I am a UCL Economics and Business graduate and LSE postgraduate with a strong academic and professional background in economics, finance and business.
My experience extends beyond the classroom. I have worked in financial analysis, consulting and credit, and I am the founder of a real estate company in Dubai, where I apply economic and business principles in practice. I have also gained academic teaching experience while assisting a professor at LSE.
As a tutor, I am professional, patient and academically focused. I believe students achieve the best results when they genuinely understand the reasoning behind economic concepts rather than simply memorizing them.
Whether you are studying A Level or university Economics, my aim is to provide structured, engaging and personalized lessons that strengthen your knowledge, analytical skills and confidence.

My approach to tutoring is based on understanding Economics rather than simply memorising definitions and models. I explain complex concepts step by step, using diagrams, practical examples and real economic situations to help students understand the logic behind economic theory.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student’s objectives and areas of difficulty. We then review the relevant theory, work through examples together and apply the concepts to exam questions, essays, data interpretation or problem-solving. I adapt each lesson to the student’s syllabus, university course and individual learning style.
What sets me apart is the combination of academic knowledge and practical experience. I studied Economics and Business at UCL and completed my postgraduate studies at LSE, where I also gained experience assisting a professor. Alongside academia, my professional experience in finance, consulting and business allows me to demonstrate how Economics works beyond textbooks.
My lessons are suitable for A Level Economics students, undergraduate university students and anyone seeking to strengthen their understanding of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economic Policy, International Economics, essay writing and economic analysis.
