About Vassilios
I’m a UCL Computer Science graduate with an A* in A-Level Mathematics and experience tutoring students aged 8–16. I enjoy helping students build confidence in maths by breaking difficult concepts down into clear, manageable steps.
My aim is not simply to help students get the right answer, but to develop a strong understanding of the underlying concepts so they can tackle new problems independently. I adapt my teaching to each student’s level, learning style and goals, whether they need help strengthening the fundamentals, improving their grades or preparing for exams.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s current level and goals. I focus on explaining concepts clearly, then reinforce understanding through worked examples and targeted practice questions. Most importantly, I focus on ensuring that my students have a strong understanding of the subject matter rather than rote memorisation, which produces the strongest results. My methodologies follow exam board specification and focus on improving the student's exam technique via tackling past papers and related questions. My lessons range from 60 minutes - 2 hours and can be adapted depending on the student’s needs.
