About Polina

As a highly qualified Ukrainian language teacher, I bring a deep academic foundation and years of experience to every lesson. I am living in Glasgow, Scotland. I hold two degrees: a degree in Ukrainian Language and Literature from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) and a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Stirling. This dual expertise allows me to bridge linguistic and cultural contexts effectively, providing my students with a rich, immersive, and results-driven learning experience.

About the lesson

My Ukrainian language lessons are personalised, practical, and tailored to your specific needs and goals. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment where you feel confident and motivated to learn. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, my lessons are structured to help you achieve meaningful progress. Each lesson is dynamic, interactive, and goal-oriented. We begin by revisiting previous material to reinforce your understanding and progress seamlessly to new content. I balance structured exercises with free practice, so you develop both technical precision and fluency. Whether you're preparing for academic study, professional use, or personal enrichment, I adapt the lesson content to align with your unique objectives. Mastering Ukrainian is not just about learning a language—it’s about gaining access to a vibrant culture and a rich literary tradition. If you're ready to commit to meaningful progress and a transformative learning experience, my lessons are the perfect fit for you. Let's work together to achieve your language goals!

Polina is a very patient and very kind tutor. She’s very good at explaining and breaking things down to help me understand the language. She helped me so much to improve my grammar and spelling as that is what I was struggling with. I couldn’t recommend her enough she’s brilliant.
