About Riona
As an undergraduate English student at the University of Exeter, I am passionate about pushing students to their full potential and making English literature accessible (and even enjoyable!) to everyone. I can understand how difficult a lot of literature can be and aspire to make it more understandable for students. With work experience in London primary and secondary schools, I have a background in teaching and would love to use this to help more students.

With experience in both primary and secondary school settings, each lesson would be catered to the individual student's needs whilst focussing on exams. Past papers and mark schemes would be looked at critically alongside the student. I would also teach the student grade 9/ A revision methods and exam techniques while giving the student personalised feedback and cover the content in depth. Though I am ideally tutoring GCSE/ A Level English students, I would be happy to accommodate for other English qualifications. I would also be happy to proofread university personal statements.
