About Scott
I have been giving lessons for roughly half a year now, teaching 9 students in total. I am relatively new to tuition but I am looking forward to expand my services and help out fellow students with their studies. Students I have taught have gone on to make good progress in the way they can write essays and also been able to significantly expand their knowledge of their chosen subject.

Hi, my name is Scott and I'm currently in my second year at York University studying Sociology. I am offering tuition on History, English and Sociology at GCSE and A-level. I am a good communicator and able to condense and simplify information for students so first they understand the basics, and then are able to branch out into more complex areas of the courses.
The way I would approach tuition would be tailored to your needs. However, in broad terms, I would go through the entire course with you and make sure you are up to speed with your knowledge, making sure you have a comprehensive and effective set of notes from which you can revise from. I would then tackle essay structure and how to make an essay of university standard. If you have any specific needs then these will be addressed as well.
