About Alex
I love math, and after our lessons together, I hope you will too. I am a 20-year-old student-athlete and have excelled in sports and school for a long time. My biggest strengths are my communication skills, my ability to convey information in a clear manner and my organization with lesson material and topics. I am worldly; I have lived in three different countries in the past three years, for both athletic and academic pursuits. I am motivating; I believe everyone has the right to excel in and enjoy math. I am competent; I kept a 3.9 GPA throughout high school and currently stand with a 4.0 GPA in college, majoring in business economics. Everybody is different therefore no two lessons of mine will be the same. I adapt my lesson plans to the student, the course and the material.

I love to engage my students with fun and interactive activities to promote learning. I use software on an iPad to aid learning and give students extra work for practice! I am calm and supportive but most importantly, I am young so I can relate with my students. A lesson with me would include introductory activities, practiced examples tailored for the student's needs, then a review of the lesson.

Alex has helped my son with High School math. He was great at explaining with so much patience. He was able to adjust to my son’s learning style which made learning much more effective!! He was always kind and flexible with scheduling lessons. Would definitely recommend!
Alex been an exceptional math tutor for my daughter. He has a clear way of breaking down complex concepts into steps that actually make sense, which has really helped build her confidence. We’ve seen a noticeable improvement not just in her grades, but in her overall approach to math. Highly recommend him to any student looking for strong, reliable math support.

Alex is by far the best math tutor my son has had. Alex always shows up prepared, having a plan for each session. Post session, we are sent what was worked on. My son who has not enjoyed tutoring in the past, looks forward to the sessions. I cannot give a high enough rating.
Alex was a great tutor for my son, helping him excel in his grade 9 math class. My son had problems with arithmetic and algebra and Alex helped him develop those skills to pass his exams. Very knowledgeable and kind tutor.
