About Ellie
My name is Ellie and I am 19-years-old, currently studying English Literature at degree level. I have always had a passion for the English language and how writers can express their views through character voice and deliberately question societal behaviour. I have always enjoyed teaching this subject, mostly because of my passion for it and the ability for me to pass that on to younger generations. Teaching English Literature provides me with a fulfilment like no other. I find that I am one of many who are able to keep texts alive, through teaching and passing my love for them on.

In my private tutoring sessions, I will discuss the student’s strengths and weaknesses and assess their abilities. From there, we will work collectively to increase their overall performance and confidence in writing essays. We will also work to develop their knowledge and understanding of texts and practise the use of different techniques to strengthen and enhance their long-term memory.
