About Hawa
iI am a mathematics student who has been a private tutor for two years. My students were aged between 10 and 17. By applying my teaching methodology all of them achieved their goals. For instance, passing a maths A-level exam to meet the entry requirements of their dreamed university or improving their average mark.

Every student approaches the understanding of the subject in a different manner. That is the reason why i apply different methodologies to accommodate the student needs.
However I like to base in the following. On the first lessons, we do a brief study to determine the level in which the student is. In addition, once I have been explained which are their goals, we proceed to set up short term objectives.
Furthermore, I use a wide range of examples to ensure the understanding of the subject and to demonstrate the explained theory and clarify any possible doubts. Regarding homework, I believe it is an option but not esencial. It will depend on the time available. Moreover, if the student is preparing for an examination I provide exam papers and do simulations in order to familiarize the learner with the situation.
