About Manvi
Hi, I'm Manvi! I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Behavioral Studies, having achieved an ATAR of 89.80 with strong results across both English and business-related subjects. I know first-hand what it takes to succeed in VCE, and I'm passionate about helping students build genuine understanding, not just memorized answers.
My teaching style is personalized and concept-first. Rather than rushing through content, I take the time to understand where each student is starting from, then build their skills using clear explanations, real-world examples, and plenty of practice. For English, this means developing strong analytical writing and confident, structured essay technique; for Business Management, it means connecting theory to real business examples so concepts genuinely stick, not just get recited. I check understanding as we go, so nothing gets left behind before we move forward.
While tutoring is a newer step in my journey, I bring real, hands-on teaching experience from training and mentoring new team members in a professional setting, where clear communication and patience were essential. I'm reliable, well-prepared for every session, and genuinely invested in each student's progress and confidence, not just their grades.

I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Behavioural Studies, and I achieved an ATAR of 89.80, with a strong academic record across both English literature and business-related units. While this would be my first formal tutoring role, I bring genuine, relevant teaching experience as a Crew Trainer, where I was responsible for training and guiding new team members, a role that taught me how to break concepts down clearly and check understanding rather than assume it. My approach to tutoring English and Business Management is concept-first and personalised: I start by checking a student's existing understanding, then build from there using real-world examples and structured practice, since students retain ideas far better when they can see how they actually apply. I use active recall throughout, asking students to explain ideas back in their own words to reveal any gaps early, and for essay-based or analytical work, I focus on the reasoning and structure behind an answer, not just the final result, so students build skills they can transfer to new questions. My lessons typically run 60 minutes, giving enough time to review, teach new material, and practise without feeling rushed, though I'm happy to adjust to 45 or 90 minutes depending on the student. I'm best suited to VCE and senior secondary students studying English or Business Management, as this content is closely aligned with what I'm currently studying and achieved strong results in myself.
