Henry is a classmate of mine and is one of the most dedicated, resilient and intelligent people that I know. He puts his all into his studies, and always takes time to help other students - myself included - in a way that is encouraging and useful. He is brilliant.

In addition, he helped me think more creatively when translating which improved my natural flow of language. His time management skills and flexibility also immensely helped me feel comfortable when learning as he welcomed my busy schedule to find the right time for his tutoring. Henry and I met at uni and he helped me practice French throughout the year. He speaks better French than I do even though I lived in France for a while, and while we were practicing he was to explain terms I didn’t recognize in context without breaking into English. He’s so passionate about learning French and has a really keen eye for nuances in French that a lot of tutors lack. He also knows so much about French literature, he was constantly bringing up cool insights on niche works during our conversations. Henry has been my peer for a year and has exhibited incredible drive. He has engaged in student politics to better welfare and to encourage productive learning.
