About Izzy
Hello! My name is Izzy and I am currently studying to become a teacher. Teaching has always been a passion of mine because I love helping children grow in confidence and discover their own strengths. While English is my main subject, I am confident teaching all areas of the Primary National Curriculum and enjoy adapting my approach to suit different learning styles. I aim to create engaging, supportive lessons that make learning enjoyable and help students make steady progress.
Outside of teaching, I am passionate about sports and musical theatre (my favourite is Hamilton). I love watching live performances and exploring new sports- ice skating is my favourite to take part in, but I enjoy the atmosphere of any live event. Another hobby of mine is playing the piano, which I find calming and enjoy learning new songs when they get released!

Lessons are designed to be interactive, incorporating listening exercises, performance practice, and structured guidance to ensure steady progress. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning preferences, whether students benefit from visual aids, step-by-step demonstrations, or learning by ear.
A typical lesson lasts 45 minutes-1 hour for allowing time for warm-ups, focused practice, and performance review. . My lessons are suitable for beginner learners who wish to build skills, confidence, and a love of music.
