About Arushi
Hi! I’m an undergraduate tutor based in Singapore, offering school-level Math, school-level English, and A-Level English lessons.
My lessons are friendly, interactive, and paced to you — no rushing, no judging, just clear steps and steady progress.
I don’t just “teach and talk”. I ask questions, get students to explain ideas in their own words, and work through examples together so they really understand. For Math, we build the method step-by-step and practice until it feels natural. For English (and A-Level English), we work on structure, clarity, and confidence - with real practice, feedback, and small improvements each lesson.

My focus on helping students understand first, then practise until they feel confident. My lessons are patient, clear, and structured, so students know exactly what they’re learning and why. I keep things encouraging and goal-focused, especially for students who feel stuck or lose confidence easily.
I start by checking the student’s current level (short quiz/questions, review of recent work) to find gaps. I break topics into small steps, use examples, and link concepts to what the student already knows. We do questions together first, then the student tries independently with my support. We also then review errors to fix the exact misunderstanding (not just “redo the question”). Lastly, quick recap at the start/end of lessons and regular review of weak areas to make learning stick.
I usually stick to 60 minutes per lesson. For exam periods or heavier topics, I also offer 90-minute sessions.
I’m an undergraduate and I tutor school-level Math, school-level English, and A-Level English. I’m organised, consistent, and I prepare lessons based on the student’s syllabus and goals.
My lessons are for students who want to improve grades, build confidence, and learn clear study routines; School-level students (Primary/Secondary) needing support with fundamentals, homework, or test prep; A-Level English students who want help with essay structure, comprehension skills, and exam practice
