About Elorn

I am French and grew up in Paris before moving to London. A lot of people learn French in school but still struggle to follow real conversations or feel natural speaking with French people. That is mainly what I help with. My approach is less focused on rigid classroom French and more focused on understanding how French is actually spoken day-to-day: conversation, pronunciation, confidence, expression, and sounding more natural socially. I work with students of different levels who want regular practice with a native French speaker and a more relaxed, real-world approach to the language.

About the lesson

Most people do not struggle with French because they are “bad at languages.” They struggle because they learnt French academically without ever really speaking it naturally with French people. French is not really learnt through memorising grammar tables. It is learnt the same way French people learn it growing up: through conversation, listening, reacting, joking around, debating, making mistakes, and speaking regularly in real situations. That is the focus of my lessons. I help students move away from stiff textbook French and become more comfortable understanding and speaking modern everyday French naturally and confidently. Lessons focus on real conversation, pronunciation, listening skills, expression, vocabulary, and helping students sound smoother and more socially comfortable when speaking French. Whether you are learning for travel, work, confidence, culture, social reasons, or simply want regular speaking practice with a native French speaker, lessons are adapted to your level and goals
