About Alivia
As an education major, my primary focus is building my students’ confidence in their own abilities. In high school I struggled with math. My amazing tutor helped me gain confidence in my skills and inspired me to encourage others through tutoring! I absolutely love English. Reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary are my passion and I hope to foster that same passion in my students!

As a Senior in the UNF education department, I have skills working with students in grades 6-12. Lessons for ACT and SAT test prep include practice tests as well as vocabulary practice. Lessons in essay writing include practicing using varied sentence forms, academic vocabulary, and thesis statements that will impress! Additionally, we will practice editing and reviewing essays to recognize mistakes and places for improvement!
