About Kay
I am a student at the University of York where I am studying Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance. My degree involves a lot of essay and script writing! I am passionate about helping the pupil to achieve the best results possible for them, as well as (hopefully) helping to increase the amount of enjoyment they get from the subject.

I am kind and friendly, I have experience of working with students with low confidence or who are nervous about having a tutor. I tailor my lessons to each pupil's needs, and work alongside the school curriculum in order to help the pupil both gain confidence in their abilities and to help boost their grades. I have experience in tutoring students for 11+, GCSE and A Level exams, and achieved an A in my English Literature A Level.

Karina is the best tutor to come to for any subject. No matter how much or little help you might need from her, she is always extremely kind, approachable and patient. She is extremely knowledgeable and will make you feel confident, understood and produce results you're happy with. She'll tailor the lessons exactly to your needs so it's always at a level you can work with whilst pushing you to reach your full potential. I can't recommend Karina enough!
Karina is a very patient tutor, she tutored my son for GCSE English and was very helpful, he brought his grade up by 2 grades to a 7.
Karina is a bright and patient girl. I’ve known her for years and her dedication and easy to speak to personality makes her an extremely personable Tutor.View more recommendations
