About Mohamed
I am final year medical student at the University of Melbourne. I have consistently ranked on the Dean's list in both my MD (WAM 87%) and my Biomedicine undergraduate degree (90%). I scored an 81/100 on the GAMSAT (100th percentile). I am also a researcher with publications in the fields of Neurosurgery and Infectious Diseases. I have significant prior experience tutoring undergraduate and medical students both online and in person.

I offer a mix of lecturing, tutoring, and active learning to optimise learning outcomes as per my students' needs. I am a firm believer in the superiority of active recall over passive learning in cementing challenging concepts. I structure my lesson by starting from the basics and working my way up. I try to make the students themselves understand the concepts through guiding them in the correct direction. I combine explanation and recapitulation with questions to ensure fundamental understanding of the topics at hand.
