About Angelica
I have an Australian Bachelor's degree in health sciences with a major in pathology. I have a high distinction average in my anatomy and physiology subjects and have tutored students in these subjects privately with impressive results. Every student has their own unique way of learning, so my first goal is to determine whether my student has a visual, auditory, kinesthetic or reading learning style. I would then discuss with my student what they believe their strengths are in the particular topic, and what their weakness is. If they are unable to identify this, I would then quickly quiz them on a range of subject matter to determine what exactly they are struggling with. My lessons incorporate a range of activities to enhance learning including active discussion, "games" (it's been proven that gamification of learning has several benefits), revision (asking student questions on learned material) and setting homework for the next lesson to build on concepts.
