I take a friendly, patient and flexible approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student’s individual needs and learning style.
Lessons will be tailored to each student’s needs and the topics they are currently studying or finding challenging. We will work through clear, detailed notes based on their exam board specification, followed by practice questions to check understanding.
As their confidence develops, we will focus on past-paper questions, exam technique and applying knowledge to different question styles. Homework can also be provided to reinforce learning between lessons.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and are suitable for GCSE Level Biology students.
As a Biology student at the University of Leeds, I have strong subject knowledge and experience supporting and communicating with students through my role as a Student Ambassador and Course Representative.
