About Ayaan
Hi. My name is Ayaan, and I am a second-year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Calgary with experience tutoring students in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, general science, and Arabic reading. I am passionate about helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
I believe every student is capable of succeeding with the right guidance and support. I take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style so I can adapt my teaching to what works best for them. I am patient, reliable, approachable, and flexible with scheduling, making it easier to fit tutoring into busy student and family routines.
Whether you need regular tutoring, homework support, or help preparing for quizzes and exams, I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the confidence to succeed independently.

A typical lesson begins by reviewing any questions or topics you're struggling with. I then explain concepts step by step using clear examples before working through practice problems together. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson so they gain confidence and truly understand the material instead of simply memorizing it.
I tutor elementary, junior high, and high school students in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, general science, and Arabic reading. I primarily teach online, which provides flexible scheduling and allows students to learn from the comfort of their own home. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and stress-free learning environment where every student can succeed.
