About Grace
I remember starting the GCSE maths course feeling super under-confident and nervous. Looking back now, I would've loved some extra support online from people who could explain concepts well. I remember teaching some of my friends about Organic Chemistry, and I really enjoyed seeing them begin to understand harder topics and feel confident in themselves. I would love to continue doing this, because as students we're all in the exam situations together and we all know how it feels to be stressed about not understanding a concept. I would love to share the knowledge I have gained with other people to help them achieve the very best they can, and, most importantly, make themselves proud.

In science, it's all about understanding. If you want to do well in science exams, learning a textbook just doesn't work! I like to explain the concepts of a topic using analogies, and then go into practice questions, problems and discussions. Understanding the context around a topic is also important for the top grades, so I also spend time explaining more about the real-world applications of a subject. I will teach visually, using whiteboard drawings and diagrams, and will also use lots of different memorisation techniques for the baseline facts needed such as definitions. I can do tutoring for all GCSE science, maths, English, geography and A level biology and chemistry. I can also aid in oxbridge admissions

Grace has tutored me on my GCSE biology course, and has made me feel so much more confident about my exams and my grades. My predicted grades increased from a 6 to an 8 because of practicing my exam technique and understanding hard concepts.
