About Imogen
Hello, I’m Imogen! I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and excel in Maths. I achieved an A* in Maths and an A in Further Maths at A-level (Edexcel), and I earned all 9s and 8s at GCSE, giving me a strong foundation and in-depth understanding of the subject. I’m currently studying Mathematics at the University of Glasgow, where I have completed my first year with a First. I am knowledgeable about effective study techniques and the science behind how we learn, which I use to help students develop strategies that make studying more efficient and learning more enjoyable. Having dyslexia myself, I understand the feeling of struggling to grasp new concepts. That’s why I’m especially empathetic and patient with students who find Maths challenging. I have experience working with students who have ADHD and dyslexia.

I have extensive experience tutoring Mathematics for years specifically GCSE and A levels. My teaching style is patient, interactive, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I love making maths exciting and engaging, and guiding students to find solutions in a way that makes sense to them. I can help whether you’re finding certain topics challenging and need extra support to catch up, or you’re already performing well and want to secure top grades and reach your full potential. I’m happy to provide practice questions we can work through together to build your skills across different topics, or we can focus on your homework, past papers, specific topics, or individual questions you’d like help with. My lessons often include breaking down exam questions, reviewing key concepts, and practising effective problem-solving techniques.
