About Isabelle
Hi, I’m Isabelle, a 3rd year Data Science student at the University of Melbourne with a strong academic background in mathematics.
I have one year of experience tutoring students from Years 3 to 8 and have supported a student in gaining admission to a selective high school. I enjoy helping students reach the point where math feels logical rather than intimidating.
I am patient, reliable and encouraging, and I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and becoming more confident in their own ability :)

My lessons are tailored to each student’s current level, schoolwork and goals. I explain concepts step by step and focus on helping students understand why a method works rather than simply memorising formulas. After worked examples, I guide students through practice questions until they can solve them independently and confidently.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and may include homework support, revision, test preparation or strengthening foundational skills. I am a University of Melbourne Data Science student with one year of experience tutoring students from Years 3 to 8. I have also supported a student in successfully gaining admission to a selective high school.
