About Diya

I have a BSc Medical Sciences (Hons) degree and am currently studying Medicine. I have tutored GCSE and iGCSE students in the past and have seen improvements in my students. When I learnt that my students had improved their grades significantly between the start of our sessions and the end of our sessions, I decided to carry on tutoring. I understand the pressures of exams and exam stress as I have gone through it not that long ago!

About the lesson

I will work one-on-one with students and personalise lessons to what the students need. I like to adapt my approach depending on the type of learner that the student is, whilst also using techniques that I have found are useful in the past.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Diya.

Perfect! Our Daughter has recently started Maths tuition with Diya and I we have already noticed a difference in our daughter's confidence. In such a short space of time, Diya has show our daughter how to approach her Maths differently, explains things on a way that is easily understood and most importantly, Diya engages with with our daughter in a way that encourages her to say if she does not understanding something which is a real improvement. We highly recommend Diya as an excellent Tutor for our daughter.

Diya was an enthusiastic mentor working really well with a girl who was aiming for grade 6. She taught her how to tackle and solve exam questions in topics that the student had struggled with. Helping to support a student academically was a new experience for Diya but she was natural, the way she spoke to the student and encouraged her while they worked together she also developed an excellent rapport with the student.

Diya is a diligent, detail-minded tutor, with a zest for learning and a passion for helping others achieve their goals. In my experience working alongside her as a colleague, she has always gone above and beyond to share her resources with the group and to explain concepts we don't initially understand. Any student will benefit greatly from a session with Diya.
