About McKenna
Hi, my name is McKenna! I am a University of Waterloo graduate with a passion for education, learning, and helping others succeed. I am planning to continue my education by pursuing a Master of Arts degree, PhD, and Law School degree, while also completing an accelerated law clerking diploma to further develop my career.
I have always enjoyed learning new things and sharing my knowledge with others. I believe that everyone learns differently, and I strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through challenges. My goal is to help students not only understand the material but also develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Through my academic background, I have built strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills that I bring into every lesson. I am dedicated to making learning a positive experience and adapting my approach to fit each student's individual goals and learning style.

I understand that everyone learns in different ways, so I do not believe in using the same approach for every student. I offer a free first session where we can get to know each other, talk about your goals, and figure out what areas you want to improve. From there, I will create a lesson plan that is built around your needs, with realistic milestones to help you stay on track. During our lessons, I focus on explaining concepts in a way that makes sense to you and encourage you to ask questions whenever something is not clear. I work with both high school and university students, whether you need help understanding course material, preparing for exams, or building confidence in a subject.
