About Shreya
As a graphic designer, cultural artist, and experienced educator in phonics and English, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges students face when learning English in a traditional classroom setting. The monotony of rote memorization and dry grammar drills often fails to ignite a genuine interest in the language or literature.
Through my diverse background and experiences, I've come to appreciate the power of creativity and immersion in language learning. I've developed innovative teaching methods that prioritize engagement, interactivity, and personal expression. Whether through storytelling, drawing, or interactive games, I strive to make learning English a vibrant and unforgettable experience for my students.
My passion for sharing these methods stems from a deep-seated belief in the transformative potential of education. I've seen how students light up with enthusiasm when learning becomes a joyful adventure rather than a tedious chore. By infusing English instruction with elements of art, culture, and play, I aim to unlock each student's innate curiosity and linguistic potential.
Moreover, I believe that fostering a love for language and literature is not just about academic success—it's about empowering individuals to communicate effectively, think critically, and connect with others across cultures and borders. By sharing my knowledge and experiences, I hope to inspire fellow educators to reimagine their approach to teaching English and cultivate a new generation of confident, passionate language learners.
In essence, my journey as a graphic designer, cultural artist, and educator has led me to recognize the transformative power of creative, immersive language instruction. I am driven by a desire to revolutionize the way English is taught, making it a dynamic and enriching experience that sparks lifelong curiosity and connection.

Here's a methodology for teaching English grammar that incorporates interactivity, creativity, and fun:
1. **Storytelling Sessions**: Stories can make un-fun things. Learn key basic English Grammar in a way you won't forget!
2. **Interactive Games**: Grammar-focused games such as "Parts of speech Bingo" or Verb Charades" to make learning interactive and enjoyable.
3. **Creative Writing Prompts**: Providing prompts that inspire students to write short stories, poems, reports, letters, or dialogues using the grammar concept they've learned to encourage creativity and to provide feedback on what the children have learnt
4. **Drawing Activities**: Incorporating drawing activities where students illustrate sentences or concepts related to the grammar rule. This visual approach helps reinforce understanding and memory retention.
5. **Role-Playing Exercises**: Organize role-playing scenarios where students act out different roles and communicate using the grammar rule in context. This fosters practical application and enhances communication skills.
6. **Interactive Quizzes**: Use digital platforms or interactive whiteboards for grammar quizzes and activities. Make it competitive or cooperative, encouraging teamwork and engagement.
7. **Grammar Journals**: Have students maintain grammar journals where they record new grammar concepts, examples, and personal reflections.
8. **Story Building**: Collaboratively create stories as a class, with each student contributing a sentence that incorporates the targeted grammar or writing skill concept fostering creativity and teamwork.
By immersing your children into these interactive and creative elements, learning with me can make learning enjoyable while effectively honing your child's comprehension and communication skills.
