About Yukako

I have been working as a part-time teacher at a cram school for four years since my university days, where I taught various subjects to children. Additionally, I have experience teaching Japanese to local people through overseas volunteer work. These experiences inspired me to teach Japanese, leading me to want to teach Japanese as a teacher while studying abroad in Canada. I am enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge and fostering cross-cultural understanding through language education:)

About the lesson

Lesson↓↓ Basic Conversation: Teach beginners everyday phrases, greetings, and self-introductions to enhance practical conversation skills. I offer support using your customized textbooks and cater to those looking to enhance their conversational skills through free conversation sessions. Grammar and Vocabulary: Instruct on fundamental Japanese grammar rules and useful vocabulary to improve sentence construction abilities. I have a Genki book (basic Japanese grammar book) so I can teach Japanese through your text or my textbook. Reading Comprehension and Sentence Structure: Improve comprehension by reading simple texts and articles, enhancing skills in writing sentences. Japanese Culture and Customs: Explore Japanese culture, traditions, festivals, and cuisine for a comprehensive understanding of language and culture. Practical Conversations: Practice real-life conversations for daily life and travel scenarios to develop practical Japanese language skills. Feedback and Reflection: Evaluate students' performance and progress, offering regular feedback to help overcome weaknesses and promote self-improvement. By combining these lesson components, students can be supported in speaking and understanding Japanese with confidence."
