About Allie
About Me
Hello! I am a passionate, certified educator with a deep love for language and culture. Beyond my formal credentials as a teacher with a secondary school certification, I bring a wealth of experience from years of instructing English phonics and grammar. My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that language is the ultimate bridge between cultures.
What defines my approach is patience, clarity, and genuine interest in my students. I don't just teach the "how-to" of Korean; I love sharing the stories behind the language—our history, traditions, and the vibrant social trends that make Korea what it is today. Having transitioned from an English educator to a dedicated Korean teacher, I understand the challenges of learning a new language from the inside out. I am committed to creating a relaxed, encouraging space where you feel comfortable making mistakes and growing at your own pace. Whether you are curious about Korean history or simply want to speak more naturally in your daily life, I am here to guide you with professionalism, empathy, and a warm, welcoming heart.

About Your Lessons: Why Learn with Me?
Welcome! Are you ready to master Korean with a structured, professional, and highly effective approach? My Korean lessons are practical, conversation-focused, and tailored to each student’s individual level and goals.
As a native Korean speaker holding a secondary school teaching certificate, I draw upon my professional background in teaching English phonics and grammar to help you understand Korean language structures clearly and intuitively.
Lessons can include speaking, pronunciation, listening, and essential grammar. We can practice through engaging topics such as daily life, travel, Korean culture, history, and current events. Each session is personalized to meet your needs:
Beginners: Learn useful vocabulary and sentence patterns step-by-step.
Intermediate Learners: Focus on speaking more naturally and confidently.
My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you can use Korean regularly and improve at your own pace. Let’s start your Korean journey together!
