About Shar
I'm an accomplished ESL teacher with a rich teaching history spanning over a decade. My diverse experience includes working with students from various cultural backgrounds, both internationally and domestically. I pursued my education in philosophy at UC Berkeley and earned a double major degree from UCLA. Fluent in Persian, I hold certifications in TESOL and online teaching. My strengths lie in promoting cooperative learning and excelling in teaching all language skill areas, such as speaking, listening, grammar, reading, and writing. I find joy in assisting students in improving their conversational skills with Americans and enhancing their confidence in presenting ideas. Described by students as highly engaging, patient, and dedicated, my teaching approach is characterized by kindness and adaptability. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, and my commitment to students' success is evident in the tangible progress they achieve under my guidance.
