About Fia
My teaching approach blends classical piano techniques with the power of modern digital tools to make learning dynamic, fun, and deeply engaging. I love using virtual pianos, DAW software, and notation apps to bring lessons to life in and out of class. Whether you're layering harmonies, beat matching, or refining pitch accuracy, I’ll guide you step-by-step with tools that support your learning style. For students who enjoy structure, I offer clear goals and audio-visual aids that make each concept stick. And for those who love creativity, we dive into making music—recording simple tracks, exploring music production basics, and crafting personal arrangements. We often use slow-down practice tools and backing tracks so you can learn tricky passages at your own pace, while still feeling the groove. We explore how music feels and sounds, not just how it looks on a page. I adapt my tools and teaching flow depending on whether you thrive with clear instructions, creative challenges, or emotional connections to the music.

With 10 years of experience teaching French to high school and college students, I am passionate about helping learners achieve strong proficiency in the language, from foundational skills to advanced fluency. My teaching approach is centered on personalized learning, where each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual goals, pace, and learning style. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment that builds confidence and encourages steady progress at every stage of learning.
My lessons focus on developing core language skills, including vocabulary expansion, writing accuracy, grammar mastery, listening comprehension, and pronunciation refinement. I use interactive and practical teaching methods such as real-life conversations, guided dialogue practice, multimedia resources, and cultural immersion to make learning both effective and enjoyable. This approach ensures that students not only understand the language but are also able to use it naturally in real-world contexts.
A key aspect of my teaching is the integration of cultural context into language learning. By exploring French culture, traditions, and everyday expressions, students gain a deeper and more authentic understanding of how the language is used. This cultural awareness strengthens communication skills and makes the learning experience more meaningful and engaging.
I adapt my teaching strategies to suit each learner’s objectives, whether they are studying French for academic success, travel, professional development, or personal interest. Through structured lessons combined with flexible, student-centered methods, I ensure consistent progress and long-term retention of knowledge.
My goal is to help every student build both linguistic competence and cultural confidence, enabling them to communicate effectively and naturally in French. With consistent practice, clear guidance, and personalized support, students are empowered to achieve their language goals and develop a lasting appreciation for the French language.
