About Kara
My teaching methodology for singing centers on Creativity, Communication, Empathy, and Integrity. I believe that every student possesses a unique voice and style, and my goal is to nurture that individuality while fostering a passion for music.
Creativity is at the core of my lessons, encouraging students to explore various musical genres and express themselves freely. I incorporate songwriting and improvisation techniques to spark their creativity and enhance their artistic development.
Communication is essential in my approach, as I maintain an open dialogue with my students, actively listening to their needs and goals. This collaboration helps tailor lessons to their specific interests and aspirations.
Through Empathy, I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks. I understand the challenges of developing a vocal technique, and I provide personalized feedback to guide their progress.
Finally, I uphold Integrity in all aspects of my teaching, ensuring a respectful and professional learning experience. In addition to singing, I also offer instruction in relevant subjects, utilizing this same methodology to help students achieve their academic and artistic goals.
