About Katrina
I have tutored for about 12 years. I started as a volunteer tutor at my university and worked at an outside tutoring center during summers. I eventually became a teaching assistant, teaching my own math courses for college algebra students and student taught at a local school nearby as a part of my university’s program.

Hi all, I graduated from the University of North Texas with my degree in Mathematics. I am a patient tutor that creates a comfortable virtual environment for students to ask questions. I am happy to help with homework, projects, and test prep and will create lesson plans based on the material being covered in a student's course. My favorite thing about Katrina is that she helped me build my confidence in math. I hadn't taken a math course in 2 years and was nervous about starting college algebra, but Katrina has been really patient with me and my mental math skills are improving too!
Katrina is so kind and patient with my child, their grade AND confidence have both improved greatly!
After my daughter dropped her Algebra II class, she tried again the next year with Katrina as a tutor. My daughter ended up passing the class with an A! She's an excellent tutor and I would definitely recommend her!
Katrina is an excellent tutor. She was very patient and took her time helping me with my pre-calculus homework. I was struggling to understand this material in class, but she simplified it in a way I could understand!
