About Taha
Hi! I’m Taha, a first-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Toronto. Throughout high school, I developed a strong passion for mathematics and science and consistently demonstrated a high academic standing in these subjects (98% in Calculus and Vectors, Physics, and Chemistry).
As a member of my high school’s peer tutoring team from Grades 10-12, I have 200+ hours of experience tutoring fellow students in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. This taught me how to break down complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations and apply personalized strategies to help students succeed. Through my tutoring, students reported receiving substantially higher test grades, with a considerable difference between their initial and final marks (e.g. from 60% to 80-90%).
I enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities and believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. Whether you're looking to strengthen your foundations, improve your grades, or prepare for an upcoming test or exam, I'd be happy to help you achieve your goals!

I provide one-on-one support sessions to help students study lessons, complete homework, prepare for tests, and improve their skills.
The subjects I tutor include grades 1-12 math and science (including chemistry and physics). Each lesson is tailored to the student's current level, goals, and learning style. I focus on building a strong understanding of concepts rather than just memorizing steps, helping students become more confident and independent problem-solvers.
Lessons may include:
• Reviewing and strengthening foundational concepts
• Explaining challenging topics in a clear and approachable way
• Working through practice problems together
• Preparing for quizzes, tests, and exams
• Developing effective study habits and problem-solving strategies
Whether a student needs extra support with coursework, wants to improve their grades, or is looking to challenge themselves further, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they can succeed.
