About Eshan

I am currently a student at the University of California Irvine and have been attending for a year now. I transferred from Norco College, from which I graduated with a 3.8 GPA with great distinction in Mathematics and Information Systems. I was enrolled at Norco while attending high school, where I maintained a 4.0 GPA until I graduated. I discovered my passion for math in high school, and from then on, I've constantly been trying to improve at it. I've passed several lower and high division math classes with high Bs and As, and am accustomed to studying difficult material and explaining it to my peers.

About the lesson

When teaching a topic, depending on a student's experience with it, I'll start by introducing a topic with a basic example. With this, you as a student can first understand the intuition behind a problem—then, we can slowly ramp up the difficulty and help you better understand how to approach this specific type of topic or problem.

As a transfer student, I understand not being able to understand a concept even if you've never had trouble with math before, or even if you just struggle with the basics. I have no problem with staying on a topic either. I'm here to help YOU understand, we're not on a curriculum to follow.

I have experience teaching both younger and older students, ranging from grades K-12 as well as college students.

Having Eshan as a tutor has been life changing. Most of my teachers or tutors will move on after going over a topic a few times, but Eshan made me feel comfortable enough to admit that I didn’t understand, which he didn’t make me feel bad about, and then he took the time to break it down even further for me. Even when I was still struggling, he didn’t move on until I understood the topic better. He’s very patient, understanding, respectful, and kind. I truly don’t think I’d feel so confident and comfortable in math if not for his guidance and support. There’s absolutely no one else I would recommend over Eshan when it comes to the quality of tutoring he provides. Highly recommend!
