I used to teach at an elementary school in Taiwan. Chinese is my first language, and I love helping students learn Chinese from real-life situations.

About Peggy
Hi there! I’m Peggy — so happy to meet you here! I’m from Taiwan and currently on a working holiday in Australia. I often meet people from different countries who are really curious about Taiwan, and I always get super excited to tell them how beautiful and friendly my country is! I love learning new things, traveling, and sharing stories with people from all over the world. Through teaching Mandarin, I hope to make new friends and learn about different cultures. Let’s have fun and discover how amazing the Mandarin can be together!

Here are my favorite and most commonly used teaching methods.
You can choose the learning style you prefer, and we’ll discuss it together in our first class.
• Using self-made PowerPoint materials
• Learning through fun and interactive games
• Practicing real-life situational conversations
• Conducting oral practice entirely in Mandarin (great for intermediate to advanced learners)
• Learning Mandarin pronunciation and tones (ideal for beginners or those who want to learn Mandarin characters)
By learning with me—a native Taiwanese—you might also get to:
• Explore Taiwan, once called “Formosa” by the Portuguese—its food, culture, history, and natural scenery
• Receive travel tips personally recommended by a local Taiwanese!

Peggy was working as a primary school teacher in Taiwan before. Her students all loved her ways of teaching and her attitude showed respect to everyone.
She teaches conversations in Mandarin of daily life. She can also make the learning happily! Highly recommend Peggy to be your first Mandarin Teacher!View more recommendations
