About JC
Hey y'all! My name is JC, and I'm currently a senior studying Industrial and Systems Engineering at college. I really love helping students reach their academic goals, as I have had to learn a lot of learning styles in order to be successful in my own career. I'm one of the younger tutors in the community, so I really understand what learning is like nowadays and have a lot of tips to help you guys out. Reach out anytime!
I'm a problem solver at heart. For me, I have always prioritized individual people before any objective, because I fully understand that different types of people need different types of support. I apply this to my everyday life, and especially in tutoring, so that I can do everything I can to support my students.
I have been a college and high school tutor for the lat 5 years at two universities and one high school. I have been a college student for the last 5 years, and have taken on various students through programs at those institutions.

I usually have the student send me example material from the coursework they are currently in and setup a quick 5-10 minute zoom call to see what we are working on. After the consultation, the student can then decide if they would like to continue with my tutoring services!

Details
Typically, the 5-10 minute consultation is free! Any tutoring session afterwards are $25-35 an hour based on the coursework and student proficiency in the subject.
For sessions, I am very flexible with time. I do charge the first hour rate, even if the student does not use the entire hour, but leave a ten minute buffer before charging for the next hour (for example, if after the hour you only need 5-10 more minutes, I will only charge for the hours prior)
