About Laura
I am an early childhood expert with a B.A, M.A and Ph.D in early childhood education and PG Cert in Higher Education; a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy; and have over 11 years' experience of working in higher education. Prior to being an academic, I worked in a range of fields including as an early childhood practitioner/nanny and academic skills tutor.
I am thrilled to say that I have recently been nominated for a Vice Chancellor's award for Best Lecturer. An excerpt from the nomination says:
"She always goes out of her way to support her students, in ways you wouldn't expect from a lecturer. She is a great help academically and personally at assisting students to professionally develop and solve or support their personal problems. She has so much eagerness, generosity, passion and vigour in her teaching, research and pedagogy. She really inspires me and I truly think she deserves to be recognised for her endless kindness".
I look forward to meeting you and working together to help you achieve your goals and reach your potential!

Laura was my Tutor while I studied Early Years Professional Status at the University of East Anglia.
Laura was a kind and caring tutor. I felt well supported by Laura, she would always offer help/guidance and was passionate about helping me reach my full potential.
She was also able to ensure I had constructive feedback to work on how I could develop and improve.
Laura is very knowledgeable on Early Years pedagogy and I always felt like this was a big strength she held , her knowledge on Early Years academia and being able to use this to help support me as a student.
I would highly recommend Laura as a Tutor.View more recommendations
