About Elisha
"Teaching allows me to share the resonance of a well-tuned string. The sound of a bow drawing across a bridge creates a precise physical sensation that anchors my approach to every student.
I have taught 290 students, focusing on intonation, sight reading, vibrato, and left hand agility. My experience includes guiding learners through classical repertoire while mastering spiccato and staccato bowing. We also spend time refining scales and arpeggios to build a solid foundation. "Starting with a diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan helps me understand exactly where you are in your musical journey. You might feel a bit nervous at first, but we will quickly move into specific technical adjustments that make playing the violin feel more natural and fluid. With my 13 years of experience, I provide clarity on the subtle mechanics of the instrument that often seem difficult at first glance.
