About Alba
I am a student of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. I already have several students in the city and also online. I have experience teaching at the Royal Conservatory for the Young Talent department. I also worked in a music school in Spain.
I love to see how different students learn in very different ways so I learn a lot about teaching from my own students and I reflect on that to get better and better.
I am learing a lot from my Educational Skills teacher and also my own violin teacher, who is very passionate about it and from whom I am learning how to connect with the student, giving the right information and adapting it depending on how the student processes knowledge .

I use to focus a bit on technique, since it's very interesting to explore how the instrument works and how to get new and varied tools in order to make it easier to study the repertoire that we work on during the lessons. I also try to make the lessons interactive, asking questions to the students, helping them reflect on how they do things, why do they do them and so on.
We can play games of improvisation, create our own melodies and also play pieces that are modern music together with very known pieces from classical music.
