About Mikayla

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with a Bachelor of Education from Western University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and French Education from Wilfrid Laurier University. I have experience as a French tutor for students in grades 1–9, a math tutor for students in kindergarten to grade 10, and as a teacher for grades 7–12. In addition, I completed the French Immersion program from grades 1–12 and participated in the Explore French Language Bursary Program at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi.

About the lesson

I teach online via Google Meets and base my tutoring sessions on what the student is currently doing in school, as well as anything they are having trouble with that their teacher may have already moved on from. If the student is not in school and is learning French out of interest or for extra practice, I will base my sessions on their current ability.
